www.hbconn.co.za Cookie Policy
This document contains information regarding the technologies that enable this Application to achieve the purposes described below. These technologies allow the Data Controller to collect and save information (e.g. through the use of Cookies) or to use resources (e.g. by running a script) on the User’s device when the latter interacts with this Application.
For the sake of simplicity, these technologies are briefly referred to as “Tracking Tools” in this document, unless there is reason to differentiate.
For example, although Cookies can be used in both web and mobile browsers, it would be inappropriate to talk about Cookies in the context of mobile applications, since they are Tracking Tools that require the presence of a browser. For this reason, within this document the term Cookie is only used to specifically indicate that particular type of Tracker.
Some of the purposes for which Trackers are used may also require your consent. If consent is given, it can be freely revoked at any time by following the instructions contained in this document.
This Application uses Trackers managed directly by the Owner (commonly referred to as “first-party” Trackers) and Trackers that enable services provided by third parties (commonly referred to as “third-party” Trackers). Unless otherwise specified in this document, such third parties have access to their respective Trackers.
The duration and expiry of Cookies and other similar Trackers may vary depending on what is set by the Data Controller or by each third-party provider. Some of them expire at the end of the User’s browsing session.
In addition to what is specified in the description of each of the categories below, Users can obtain more detailed and up-to-date information on the duration, as well as any other relevant information – such as the presence of other Tracking Tools – in the privacy policies of the respective third-party providers (through the links made available) or by contacting the Data Controller.

How to manage your preferences and give or withdraw consent
There are a number of ways to manage your Tracker preferences and to give or withdraw consent where necessary:
Users can manage their Tracker preferences directly through their device settings – for example, they can prevent the use or storage of Trackers.
In addition, whenever your use of Trackers is based on consent, you may give or withdraw your consent by setting your preferences in the cookie policy or by updating your preferences via the consent preferences privacy widget, if any.
Thanks to the appropriate functions of the browser or device, it is also possible to remove previously saved Trackers, including those used to save the consent preferences initially expressed by the User.
Other Trackers in your browser’s local storage can be removed by clearing your browsing history.
With respect to Third-Party Trackers, Users can manage their preferences by visiting the relevant opt-out link (if available), using the tools described in the third party’s privacy policy, or by contacting the third party directly.
Locate your Tracker settings
Users can, for example, find information on how to manage Cookies in some of the most popular browsers at the following addresses:
Users can also manage certain Mobile Application Trackers by disabling them through the appropriate device settings, such as mobile advertising settings or tracking settings in general (Users can consult their device settings to determine the relevant one).
Consequences of refusing to use Trackers
Users are free to decide whether or not to allow the use of Trackers. However, please note that the Trackers allow this Application to provide Users with a better experience and enhanced functionality (in line with the purposes outlined herein). Therefore, if the User decides to block the use of Tracking Tools, the Owner may not be able to provide the related functionalities.
